• Premium Plan: Resumes and optimizations are stored indefinitely until you delete them or close your account

Account Data: If you delete your account, all associated data (resumes, optimizations, personal information) will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Backup Retention: Encrypted backups may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes before being permanently purged.

5. AI Data Processing

Our service uses artificial intelligence to optimize your resume. Here's how your data is processed:

• Processing: Your resume content and job descriptions are sent to AI systems for analysis and optimization
• No Training: Your personal data is NOT used to train AI models
• Temporary Processing: AI providers process your data in real-time and do not retain it after processing
• Encryption: All data sent for AI processing is encrypted in transit

The AI analyzes your resume structure, content, and keywords to provide optimization suggestions tailored to specific job descriptions.

ResumeTailor is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
